You're playing what now??

Mr Hausfrau is worldly. He likes to keep up to date with the worlds news.

We watch SBS as he doesn't like how the local news sometimes neglects what's happening in other countries.

But thanks to his favourite German website he gets to catch up on news that he misses.

So the other day when I saw him sitting with his laptop watching a video I hushed the kids and turned the TV down a little as I assumed he was listening to something important.

How wrong I was.

For pete's sake DON'T waste your time watching it. It's 1 mintues and 58 seconds of your life that you'll never get back!!

No people, it seems that my husband has a new addiction.

Seriously?

I've nicknamed it Butt Pirates. Sounds much more fun.

Luckily I know him well enough to know that he'll be bored with it in a few more weeks!

Does your other half play a silly facebook computer game?? Is he like Mr Hausfrau and gets carried away with it religiously for a few weeks until it bores him and he moves on to a new addiction?? Do tell me I'm not the only computer game widow out there at the moment!!

Now, before anyone gets all weirded out by me using the term "butt pirate" - I'm in no way using it in a derogatory way! No I'm not homophobic. Yes I have many many gay friends. Heck even my brother in law is gay! #equalloveequalrights. I just started calling it that to make fun of Mr Hausfrau playing the silly game. So please don't be getting all negative on me :)

  4. Lol, my husband has no interest in computer games, or computers at all really. Instead, he likes to fall asleep on the lounge at about 8pm - makes for a thrilling night!

    1. Mr Hausfrau does the same - except usually the laptop is balancing precariously on his lap and he has a beer in his hand!

  5. My hubby was hooked on some car game on facebook for awhile, Cartown or something? But it was short lived. My Dad, on the other hand, my lord he is completely and utterly addicted to a silly game called Ebony... Evony? Something like that. ADDICTED. Plays it ALL day EVERY day. I think he needs rehab. Seriously.

  7. Oh. Man! Sounds like we're married to the same man. His current obsession is some sort of civilisation building, warmongering game that will be replaced with some new sort of civilisation building, warmongering game in weeks to come. Yawn.
