If you've been following me on facebook you may or may not know that I have registered for a
220km bike ride for the Perth Ride to Conquer Cancer in 2013. This is a cause
close to my heart as I have lost some very special people to this horrible
disease. As part of my entry I need to fund raise a minimum of $2500 to take
part in the actual ride. I really hate asking for donations but I've been told
that it's the only way! Do you have a spare $2? Every little bit
helps. All money raised will go directly to support cancer
patients and their families and all donations $2 and over are tax deductible.

ReplyDeleteLOL - Just commented on your post before I saw this! Yep, smashed screen - at least it will still work if I plug into another monitor - still a pain in the arse though!! Hope your 'puter issues are solved soon!

ReplyDeletePrincessBF was using it because her school issued MacBook is broken and she closed it without realising that there was one of those metal doobalackies that attach to a pump to blow up a football was sitting in the hinge (not freaking idea WHY it was sitting there!) - it closed and pressed up onto the screen, smashing it!!! It was an accident but OMG I could have screamed!
DeleteO M G.....That brings tears to my eyes just looking at it! Sad how reliant we are on technology these days. I feel like my right arm is missing when I don't have my laptop,ipad,iphone with me...sad isn't it?

ReplyDeleteThankfully it's only the screen and I can hook up a spare monitor and do a back up! Phew! But yes, back up your stuff!

DeleteWell that's just stinky! So sorry about your computer but there are worse things and from reading about your bike ride against cancer I think you know what I mean.
